Co-founded by Richard Beard and Blake Vincent, Drake Custom Homes is a full-service building company that specializes in superior design and quality construction of high-end residential homes in the Houston metropolitan area. Prior to founding Drake Custom Homes, the two teamed up to start Southland Fence Company (SFC) in 1995. After building SFC into a million dollar business, they eventually sold the company in 2005. As veterans of Houston’s building and construction industries: they established Drake Custom Homes to bring their vision of earthy, yet modern urban homes to Houston. Since then, Blake and Richie have built numerous properties, working closely with clients from design concepts to assisting through the entire process of design, development, and interior and exterior selections. Their direction and dedication toward high-quality, custom design building is and has been the key to Drake Custom Home’s success.
